Squeaky Shiny Clean is a house cleaning and mobile car detailing service based in Covina, California, operated by Peter Orozco. This page explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how to ask us to delete it.
What we collect
When you submit a booking request, we collect the following information:
- Your name. So Peter knows who he is working with and can address you properly.
- Your phone number. So Peter can text you a booking confirmation and stay in touch about your appointment. If you tick the optional appointment-texts box at booking, we also record that you agreed and when, as described in "Text messages" below.
- Your email address. So we can send your booking confirmation, pre-clean checklist, and completion photos.
- Your home address. So we can arrive at the right place and calculate your price estimate based on your location within our service area.
- Room and area photos (optional). You can upload photos of your rooms during booking so Peter can build a checklist tailored to your home before arriving. These are never required.
We do not collect payment card numbers. Payment is cash or Zelle after the job is complete.
How we use it
We use your information only to fulfill your booking:
- Schedule and confirm your appointment
- Build a pre-clean checklist tailored to your home
- Send booking confirmations, your checklist, and completion photos by email
- Calculate a price estimate based on your home size and the service type you selected
We do not use your information for marketing and we do not send promotional emails.
Text messages
The booking form has an optional checkbox for appointment texts. It is never pre-ticked, and leaving it unticked never blocks your booking or changes anything else about your service. Ticking it tells us we can text the number you gave us about that appointment.
If you tick it, here is everything we send:
- An appointment reminder. One text the morning before your scheduled job.
- An on-my-way text. One text when Peter leaves for your address.
That is up to 2 messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Automated texts go out between 8:00am and 9:00pm Pacific time, and we use a tighter window for numbers whose area code is outside California so a text does not arrive late in your own time zone.
We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Every automated text is tied to one specific appointment you booked. These texts go one direction only: our booking system does not read, store, or display your replies, so if you need to reach Peter, text or call (626) 667-4202 directly.
Opting out sticks. If you reply STOP, we stop, and simply booking again with the box ticked does not start the texts back up on its own. Ask Peter directly if you ever want them turned back on.
Photo retention
Your photos are stored on secure servers and are only accessible to Peter and Rosa, the crew who will clean your home. Photos are never shared with anyone outside the crew, and they are never used for advertising or any purpose other than building your checklist.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertising networks, data brokers, or any other third party for commercial purposes.
Two service providers handle the booking information you submit, each for one job and nothing else:
- Resend (resend.com) is our transactional email provider. It delivers your booking confirmation, checklist, and completion emails on our behalf.
- Twilio (twilio.com) is our text-message provider. It receives your phone number only if you tick the optional appointment-texts box, and only to deliver the appointment texts described above.
Neither uses your data for any other purpose, and both are contractually prohibited from doing so.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also receives anonymous data about your visit, as described in the "Cookies and analytics" section below. It never receives your booking information.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use this website, which pages are popular, and where we can make things clearer. This helps Peter and Rosa keep improving the site.
Analytics only runs if you accept it. The first time you visit, a banner asks whether analytics cookies are okay with you. Nothing is loaded and nothing is tracked until you choose Accept. If you choose Reject, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected, and rejecting is just as easy as accepting.
Google Analytics collects standard usage data such as the pages you view, your general device type, and an approximate region. It does not receive your name, phone number, email, or home address, and we never use it for advertising, retargeting, or building profiles about you.
You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or by clearing this site's cookies in your browser. You can read how Google handles this data in the Google Privacy Policy.
Request deletion
You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. Text or call us at (626) 667-4202 and we will delete your records within 7 business days.
If your booking is still active (scheduled or in progress), we may need to keep your information until the job is complete. After completion we will delete it on request, or automatically at the 90-day mark for photos.
